Minimalism is one of the most sought-after styles in architecture today. Vivid examples of this style appeared already in the 20-30s of the XX century. This style is characterized by naturalness and simplicity, the lack of decorative elements and any decorations, high functionality of each element of the design.

Under the influence of progress, the smoothness and curvature of the lines of many trends of modernism began to tire people. In the middle of the twentieth century, Frank Lloyd Wright, a famous American architect, developed the concept of minimalist houses for the life of ordinary workers, which was the beginning of the emergence of minimalism in architecture .

In the construction of buildings in the style of minimalism, simple geometric shapes are used: rectangles, circles, squares, which can be quite smooth, but do not have undulating shapes and bends. In minimalism, all lines must be straight, concise and strict.

Buildings in the style of minimalism are built mainly from natural materials: wood, stone, glass, marble. Of metals, preference is given to chrome steel.

The color scheme uses neutral colors inherent in natural material. In minimalism, color is more important than color. Characteristic are shades of white, gray, beige and brown.
